Scheduling Coordinator (Nights)

Job Summary
Coordinate weekend and holiday staff schedules, including on-call RN rotations, for Thursday through Saturday shifts from 8pm to 8:30am. Optimize staffing for RNs, CNAs, LPNs, medical social workers, integrative therapists, and chaplains to align with patient plans of care. Assign and verify visits for payroll and billing accuracy while relaying communications from patients, physicians, and caregivers to clinicians. Maintain confidentiality and facilitate interdepartmental cooperation to support essential agency activities. Requires two years of medical/clinical experience, an AA or AS degree, and strong Excel and MS Office proficiency. Required Qualifications
- Developed clerical and computer skills
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, Windows, MS Office - intermediate level proficiency)
- Willing and able to learn new computer software packages
- Must be available for Thursday - Saturday 8pm - 8:30am (36 hours)
Desired Qualifications
- Two years' previous experience in medical /clinical setting
- AA or AS degree
- Previous scheduling experience
