Job Summary
Coordinate urgent, routine, and follow-up specialist appointments for IDT-approved authorizations, adhering to scheduling and turnaround time objectives. Liaise between participants, Primary Care Physicians, PACE Center staff, specialty providers, and Utilization Management to ensure timely access to specialty care. Collaborate closely with the IDT team to coordinate specialty services and advocate for participants' specialty needs. Requires high school diploma, two years of medical or clinical field experience, and proficiency with electronic health systems. Bilingual English, Spanish, Mandarin, or Cantonese is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Two years of minimum experience working in the medical or clinical field
- Experience working with referrals/authorizations
- Experience with an electronic health system

- Medical Assistant Certificate
