Job Summary
Maintain schedules for Certified Nursing Assistants, Nurses, and LPNs while reducing overtime in coordination with the DON and HR Director. Track nursing employee concerns, monitor attendance records including call-offs and no-shows, and assist in hiring new staff as needed. Order and stock medical supplies for the nursing department, ensuring all nurse stations are properly stocked and organized weekly. Organize rented equipment such as beds and wheelchairs, returning them when not in use, and assist with resident transport and escort scheduling. Work under pressure to manage staffing regulations and facility operations.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess, as a minimum, a high-school diploma or its equivalent
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday
- Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum of 50 feet
- Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations
