Job Summary
As the Scheduling Coordinator, you will greet patients in person and over the phone, schedule and confirm appointments, manage high-volume calls, and handle check-in and check-out procedures. You will coordinate patient flow and maintain schedules while working with insurance billing and administrative records. Strong organizational skills and a commitment to patient service are essential. A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with customer service experience and excellent communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Availability to work at both Hyannis and Orleans locations
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Prior customer service experience (call center or front desk a plus)
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- A love for working with families, especially children and parents
- A sense of humor and compassion
- A strong set of personal values and integrity
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow with the team
Desired Qualifications
- Prior scheduling experience, especially in a healthcare/dental setting
- Familiarity with insurance billing and financial record keeping
