Job Summary

Scheduling Analyst responsible for shaping and delivering major Power Delivery project schedules by partnering with Project Managers, Engineers and Construction teams. Develop, maintain and optimize resource-loaded schedules; analyze schedule performance, forecast outcomes, and generate KPI and forecast reports. Manage weekly schedule, consolidate scheduling data, and coordinate with stakeholders to identify issues affecting timelines. Chair Planning, Scheduling and Execution weekly resource meetings; propose remedial actions and mitigation plans; seek PM approval for schedule changes; provide schedule expertise during internal/external audits. Hybrid work model with core in-office days in Calgary, AB. Requires a university degree or related diploma with several years of related experience; PMI-PMP designation is an asset. Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Office, Power BI, and data-driven scheduling practices; ability to work across Project Lifecycle (EPC/EPCC/EPCM) and support continuous improvements in scheduling processes.

Required Qualifications

  • University Degree in a related field with a minimum of 4 years related experience or related diploma with a minimum of 6 years related experience
  • 7 years’ related experience in cost and scheduling in an engineering, project management, construction or utility environment
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in Primavera P6 and MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Project)
  • Experienced in developing, executing, and monitoring resource-loaded schedules, WBS and project plans
  • Broad knowledge of project management, process management, engineering, and construction practices
  • Advanced Project Controls expertise to understand, develop and execute on company objectives related to cost and schedule development and project planning and estimation
  • Full understanding of project life cycle, EPC, EPCC, EPCM across broad range of projects controls principals, practices, and procedures
  • Data Analysis experience
  • Experience with Power BI, MAXAVERA and MAXIMO would be considered an asset
  • Compentencies: Build strong working relationships, communicate complex information, data-driven insights
