Job Summary
Plan and schedule all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) visits, manage field service engineers' diaries, and allocate work in line with business targets. Make ownership of all return visits required following an engineer's initial attendance and coordinate specialist equipment or subcontractors per company procedures. Assess multiple factors including priority, SLA, engineer skillset, and location to make informed scheduling decisions. Log, track, and support the resolution of customer complaints while carrying out additional administrative or coordination tasks assigned by the Manager. This role connects engineers, customers, and service teams to ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a call centre and/or customer-facing role (internal or external)
- Confident using Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to use multiple systems simultaneously
- The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
- Experience in scheduling, call centre, or customer service roles
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills — confident with engineers, managers, and customers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to use multiple systems at once
- A problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and accuracy
