Job Summary
Coordinate and oversee client services scheduling by reviewing information to determine private duty needs and assigning appropriate personnel. Instruct and guide personnel to promote effective performance and delivery of quality service while partnering with the Director for in-service training, quality assurance, and labor management. Take turns with the on-call phone after business hours during the week and weekends, and assist with billing tasks. Provide direct care HHA services to residents when needed. Ensure proper maintenance of client and associate records in compliance with regulation and policy.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- One-year scheduling experience
- Intermediate computer experience
- Experience with MS Word
- Experience with Outlook
- Experience with Excel
- Must be able to transport residents via wheelchair, gerichair or shower chair, pushing up to 150 lbs. unassisted
- Must be able to transfer, lift, turn and position a resident weighing up to 125 lbs. unassisted
- Must be able to stoop, bend, stretch, squat, stand, and walk for up to 90% of the work day
- Must be able to reach up to a level of six feet
- Must be able to push a dietary cart up to 40 lbs unassisted
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. frequently, and 50 lbs. occasionally
- Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
Desired Qualifications
- One-year experience working with older adults or in a related health care setting
- Must be able to take test to pass HHA certification
