Job Summary
Receive phone calls and fax requests to schedule patients for outpatient tests and complete their pre-registration. Ensure a valid provider order is obtained for each scheduled patient. Manage scheduling tasks while maintaining knowledge of insurance payors including commercial, government, and third-party options. Work remotely in Denver Metro, Colorado with little to no supervision, utilizing skills in medical terminology and CPT-ICD 10 coding. Requires one year of Radiology Scheduling or Patient Access experience and a high school diploma.
Required Qualifications
- Must live in Denver Metro, Colorado
- Must have patient scheduling experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to work remotely with little to no supervision
- Ability to multitask
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year previous Radiology Scheduling or Patient Access experience preferred
- Knowledge of insurance payors including commercial, government, and third party
- High level of compassion and desire to provide quality, safe patient care
- Office experience in a healthcare environment
