Job Summary
Organize and prepare work schedules for associates in the Wellness Department to ensure adequate staffing for each shift, coordinating with internal staff and external sources such as temporary staffing agencies. Duties include scheduling time off, filling vacancies to meet staffing requirements, reporting open positions to the Wellness Department head, verifying work hours and payroll consistency with leadership, assisting in new-employee orientation, explaining shift requirements to new associates, training on the time clock system, providing tours of the community as needed, and handling basic administrative tasks related to scheduling, staffing, and human resources. Knowledge/skills emphasize leadership and management abilities, English literacy, strong interpersonal and organizational capabilities, and the physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds, with a focus on supporting a senior living community environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Satisfactory completion of state-required education/certificates/testing in relation to medication aides
- Ability to read and write English
- Must possess a high degree of interpersonal skills and capability of relating to a variety of people and personalities; considerable initiative, judgement, and leadership skills are also required
- Must possess strong organizational and time-management skills
- Be in good physical health and free of communicable diseases; Lifting, bending, and ability to lift 40 pounds
