Job Summary

Translate planned manufacturing demand into detailed production schedules and purchasing requirements by assigning demand to specific machines and production resources. Monitor production activity, track adherence to established schedules, and communicate variances, risks, and recovery plans to stakeholders. Act as a liaison between Sales, Production, and Inventory to align customer demand with manufacturing capability and support exceptional customer service. Utilize MRP, scheduling, and planning tools to apply inventory control principles and meet departmental performance objectives. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to scheduling accuracy and data integrity. This role is part of the MoveUp union bargaining unit, requiring candidates to become and remain a member as a condition of employment.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma in Operations Management or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • 2-3 years of experience in a high‐volume, repetitive manufacturing environment
  • Strong proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and analytical tools
  • Experience using MRP systems and production planning tools
  • Strong analytical, problem‐solving, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‐paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • CPIM designation or intent to obtain it with the first 3-5 years of employment
  • Successful candidates will be required to become and remain a member of the MoveUp union as a condition of employment
