Scheduler / Planner - Data Center Construction Projects

Job Summary
Develop and maintain the project master schedule for design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases of large-scale data center projects using Oracle Primavera P6. Prepare the Basis of Schedule, apply resource loading, and calculate Earned Value KPIs to establish optimal staffing and crew plans. Collaborate with discipline leads, vendors, and client representatives during Interactive Planning Sessions to monitor the critical path, analyze impacts, and propose mitigation strategies for scope changes. Coordinate progress tracking with the General Contractor and provide detailed weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reporting on plan versus actual progress. Independently travel to the site client location in Queretaro to ensure accurate updates and forecast strategies.
Required Qualifications
- 7 - 10 years in project controls, planning, and scheduling
- Proven experience in Data Center or Manufacturing projects
- Expertise in developing detailed project plans from master schedules using Primavera P6
- Ability to monitor trends, analyze schedule impacts, and prepare status reports
- Strong ability to adjust schedules and report discrepancies against baseline
- Development of detailed project plans from the Master Schedule using P6 software
- Manage key inputs including task lists, logic, milestones, resources, from design phases through to construction & project close-out
- Monitor trends and analyse schedule impacts with the project team
- Prepare status reports
- Degree in Architecture, Civil, Electrical, or Production Engineering
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Office, and Excel
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and work independently
- Strong stakeholder and client management skills
- Analytical, organized, and proactive problem-solving abilities
- The Candidate should be able to independently travel to site client location in Queretaro
