Job Summary
The Scheduler/Patient Benefit Coordinator maintains the Centralized Scheduling Module in the hospital's mainframe, verifies insurance benefits to ensure coverage prior to scheduled procedures, and coordinates with the ordering physician's office for pre-certification. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer and accurate typing skills; prior medical office and pre-certification experience is highly preferred. Schedule is Full Time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., on-site in Lebanon, IN.
