Job Summary
Compile memos, correspondence, and statistical reports while designing EMS employee schedules to ensure all shifts are filled. Process employee call-outs, audit penalty-pay requests, and coordinate vacation and unscheduled sick time for Ambulance and Falck operations. Maintain an electronic employee database tracking payroll and schedule information, then schedule and approve overtime as necessary to meet staffing requirements. Work directly with field employees, supervisors, managers, and special event venues to coordinate the schedule and payroll effort. This full-time on-site role in Orange or San Diego requires weekend rotation and involves direct contact with department managers and customers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time
- Must be able to use a computer for long periods of time
- Must be able to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Must be able to repeat the same movements for long periods of time
- Must be able to push and lift to 25 lbs
- Must be available for varied shifts to include days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be available for weekends (every other weekend)
- Must be available for night shift position 1800-0500 or swing shift position 1300-0100
- Must be willing to work on-site in the city of Orange or San Diego
