Job Summary
Validate finished goods inventory status, evaluate daily EDI releases, and plan loads to meet customer requirements. Print customer screens, answer critical shortages, and review launch screens to confirm ship dates and quantities. Complete Add/Cancel forms, coordinate expedited shipments, and schedule trucks for customer releases while checking part availability. Create and transmit Advanced Shipping Notices after departure, maintain daily shipping documentation for J-Sox, and file required paperwork. Submit delivery scorecard disputes and manage routine correspondence. Requires a valid driver's license, forklift certification, and familiarity with Covisint, QAD, and MP&L systems. Overtime may be required for customer releases on weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years' material handling experience in a manufacturing environment
- Advanced computer skills and software experience (Word, Excel, e-mail, etc.)
- Valid Driver's license
- Fork Lift certified
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good oral and written communication and people skills
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Work cooperatively with others
