Job Summary
Natural Gas Scheduler position responsible for nominating, confirming and scheduling pipeline movements, coordinating with plant operations, producers and pipelines to ensure accurate inlet/residue flows and system balance, and developing expertise in logistics-based scheduling systems. Responsibilities include forecasting, scheduling and balancing MPLX gathering & processing systems; minimizing producer/shipper imbalances and intersate-imbalance penalties; providing and communicating allocations; compiling and monitoring commodity movements in complex Excel spreadsheets and the Quorum Gas Scheduling system; ensuring accurate reporting of allocation and imbalance information to internal and external customers; coordinating with field personnel, producers, shippers, and traders to execute contracts and monitor compliance; identifying optimization opportunities and driving continuous improvement with a strong analytical approach.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required or five (5) years of scheduling experience in lieu
- Two (2) or more years of industry-related experience required
