Job Summary
Nominates, confirms and schedules pipeline movements across MPLX gathering & processing systems, and balances gas deliveries between producers, shippers, and interstate pipelines. Responsible for forecasting, scheduling and balancing, developing subject-matter expertise in logistics-based scheduling systems, and coordinating with field operators, plant personnel, producers and pipelines to ensure accurate inlet/residue flows, system balance, and reporting allocations. Utilizes complex Excel spreadsheets and Quorum Gas Scheduling system to monitor movements, identify optimization opportunities, and support contracts to avoid penalties, with emphasis on accuracy, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required or five years of scheduling experience in lieu
- High School diploma (Required)
- Two (2) or more years of industry-related experience required
