Job Summary
Coordinate project schedules, perform contractor reviews, and evaluate change orders to ensure timely delivery. Conduct time impact analysis, critical path, and earned value analyses while recommending corrective actions for schedule delays. Lead site visits for progress reporting, prepare cost-loaded schedules for cash flow projections, and support negotiation efforts. Mentor junior staff and establish scheduling best practices within Build LACCD guidelines. Requires 10 years of scheduling experience, Primavera proficiency, and ability to travel across multiple sites. Salary ranges from $173,000 to $183,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or other related field
- 10 years of experience in project or program scheduling on large construction programs
- Advanced proficiency in specified software including, but not limited to, Primavera Scheduling Software, MS Office Applications including Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of theories, principles and practices of cost engineering and scheduling
- Experience with time impact analysis
- Experience with construction claims and change orders
- Flexibility in schedule and transportation to work at multiple sites based on assigned schedule and duties
Desired Qualifications
- Additional qualifying experience in excess to the minimum stated above may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis
