Job Summary
Coordinate project schedules for LACCD construction programs by preparing execution plans, conducting contractor reviews, and evaluating change orders for budget and schedule impact. Perform time impact analysis, critical path, and earned value analyses to identify delays and recommend corrective actions. Lead site visits for progress reporting, review recovery schedules, and prepare cost-loaded schedules for cash flow projections. Analyze expenditures against budget performance and participate in change order negotiations while adhering to Build LACCD guidelines. Requires 10 years of scheduling experience, a bachelor's degree, and proficiency in Primavera and MS Office.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in project or program scheduling on large construction programs
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or other related field
- Advanced proficiency in specified software including, but not limited to, Primavera Scheduling Software, MS Office Applications including Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of theories, principles and practices of cost engineering and scheduling
- Experience with time impact analysis
- Experience with construction claims and change orders
- Flexibility in schedule and transportation to work at multiple sites based on assigned schedule and duties
