Job Summary
Coordinate and supervise all costing and scheduling to monitor and evaluate project performance. Partner with project teams to implement performance monitoring systems for schedule, commodity, progress, and man-hour tracking. Review and develop project schedules from plans, integrating subcontractor and vendor data. Continuously update schedules to reflect actual progress, delays, and cost impacts. Develop project cost code frameworks, WPS, and resource-loaded schedules. Generate management reports including cash flow, shutdown schedules, and SPI, CPI, and EV metrics. Advise the Superintendent and Project Manager on subcontractor and vendor performance.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in engineering, construction management or another relevant discipline
- Minimum of four (4) years of relevant construction experience
- Experience tracking field progress, generating SPI, CPI, EV and manpower reports
- Experience reviewing contractor programs for compliance with contract documents
- Understanding and valuing industry and safety standards
- Ability to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Multi-tasking with a sense of urgency while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact professionally with managers, co-workers, subcontractors, and construction craft employees
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams as well as independently
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong computer skills in scheduling, cost software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel extensively and temporarily reside at the project site for extended periods of time
