Job Summary
Scheduler III role focused on large-scale aviation/transport construction projects. Responsible for independent schedule analyses of Contractor submittals (baseline, four-week look-ahead, monthly updates, time impact analyses), ensuring alignment with contract requirements and LAWA coding. Conducts complex delay claims analyses, identifies interdependencies and risks across projects, supports change orders and disputes, and develops reports and briefing materials. Applies KPI development, forensic scheduling per RP 29, and uses Primavera (P6) and MS Project among other tools. Collaborates with teams to mitigate delays and optimize recovery opportunities; requires extensive project scheduling experience on multi-project efforts and proven ability to communicate findings to technical and management audiences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or other related technical field
- 10 years or more of scheduling experience with 5+ years of reporting (milestones, interdependencies, etc.) in direct support of an active construction program
- Direct forensic scheduling experience to support claims analysis on large-scale, complex heavy civil, vertical and horizontal projects (projects of at least $200M value and 3-years or greater duration)
- Experience with Design-Bid-Build, Design+CMAR and Design/Build delivery methods
- Proficiency with Oracle Primavera software (P6) and Microsoft Project; familiarity with Schedule Analyzer, Claims Digger, Bluebeam etc.
- Strong communication skills for both technical and management audiences
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate across multiple projects and stakeholders
- Relevant professional licensure & certifications strongly preferred
