Job Summary
Proactively identify complex problems and trending issues, driving resolution through root cause analysis. Plan and schedule in-process and finished goods materials to maintain appropriate inventory levels while balancing service strategies, plant cost, and customer service. Collaborate with Supply Planning, Material Planning, QA, Operations, and Warehousing to re-evaluate forecasts, coordinate material availability, and troubleshoot master data issues within SAP/APO/BW systems. Represent the Materials Management function internally and inter-divisionally to manage data changes, submit required reports, and interpret production data. Attend daily Production Meetings and participate on project-based teams to stay informed of potential problems and identify solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business or other related field OR are actively in pursuit of degree within those fields
- Experience with integrated MRP systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Ability to prepare detailed reports and analyze data
- Demonstrates professional communication skills written and verbal with all levels of employees both internally and externally
- Excellent organization skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment, and identify/resolve complex issues with little support or guidance
- Experience working collaboratively in a team-based environment
- Ability to exercise good judgment in high pressure, sensitive situations
Desired Qualifications
- SAP/APO experience or other inventory management systems experience
- Experience within planning, scheduling, procurement, or other relevant supply chain roles
- APICS certified
