Job Summary
Set schedules, run the day, and enter/review cases while answering calls from surgeons, hospitals, and patients. Perform call trades and swaps independently, coordinate next-day schedules with designated physicians, and ensure sufficient staff coverage by maintaining current call rotations. Complete daily summaries, check-outs, and holiday call schedules while managing master meeting calendars and provider vacation tracking. Train new employees on scheduling policies, quarterly schedules, and team lists, and write/maintain department procedures. Work shifts varying daily from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, including overtime, with a flexible schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 3-5 years' related experience and/or training at this level, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of medical practices and terminology
- Ability to lead and train lower levels
- Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work shifts varying daily from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, including overtime when needed
- Occasional Standing

- Use office equipment (in office or remote)
- Communicate verbally and in writing
