Job Summary
Schedulers develop and manage schedules for projects across manufacturing, program and engineering teams using the SOW and the WBS, employing Microsoft Project 2010/2013 and the company scheduling guide. They collaborate with sub-contractors and project teams to track and report progress, perform schedule analysis (CPM, Critical Chain) and schedule risk analysis, provide IMS/IMS Metrics updates, and support Government reviews and meetings. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining project schedules, monitoring timelines, identifying delays, facilitating remedial action, entering data into databases, and producing routine reports and correspondence. Strong analytical, data interpretation, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to multi-task and learn various software tools in a high-pressure environment.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a 2 or 4 year course of study leading up to a college degree or high school diploma with at least 2 years of task related experience
- Beginner to Intermediate skills using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project and PowerPoint
- An ability to maintain multiple, interrelated project schedules simultaneously essential.
