Job Summary
The Scheduler is responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating construction schedules for large-scale civil and mission-critical engineering projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and company standards. Key responsibilities include producing conceptual schedules, maintaining a database of schedule durations, tracking baselined project schedules, overseeing scheduling activities, and developing project layouts. Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 3 years of experience in construction, with high proficiency in scheduling software and strong analytical and communication skills. Travel may be required within local areas.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business Administration
- Minimum of 3 years of experience within the construction industry
Desired Qualifications
- Highly proficient in scheduling programs (e.g., Primavera P6 or OPC, Microsoft Project, LEAN, CPM)
- Highly proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and the latest industry standards
- Strong ability to read construction drawings and apply drawing maps/areas of work to the project schedule
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
