Job Summary
Maintain nursing department schedules, track budgeted hours, and monitor daily staffing to meet State and Federal requirements. Ensure adequate coverage by maintaining attendance records, initiating disciplinary processes for issues, and tracking in-servicing. Plan in-service education as directed, follow infection control practices, and assist in payroll processing. Requires current STNA license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong organizational skills. Full-time, 1st shift role at Brookhaven Retirement Community.
Required Qualifications
- STNA
- Good physical condition
- Ability to stand on one's feet throughout the day
- Ability to push, pull, move and/or lift frequently a minimum of 10 pounds and up to greater than 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to take actions and achieve results through others

- Ability to maintain confidentiality of all employee information
- Ability to read, write and understand the English language
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service, administrative and organizational skills
- Experience with scheduling for a nursing department
