Scheduler - Float

Answer incoming calls, direct them to appropriate personnel, and serve as a liaison between patients and medical staff. Schedule outpatient appointments, referrals, testing, hospital surgeries, and admissions, obtaining necessary pre-certification as required. Register new patients in the computer system, gather necessary information, and schedule return appointments in accordance with physician guidelines. Cancel or reschedule appointments based on physician schedule changes and notify clinic personnel. Requires a high school diploma or general education degree, five years of office experience, and preferred previous medical office experience. Full-time position with salary ranging from $22.33 to $31.27.
