Job Summary
Coordinate client appointments and visits based on Service Plans while maintaining proper staffing levels. Enter scheduling data, create weekly schedules for assigned caregivers, and maintain call-in, retention, and statistic reports. Contact care providers and clients regarding day-to-day changes, discern urgent requests from care plans, and enter staff and client information into the database. Manage after-hours and weekend calls for emergencies, scheduling issues, and referrals. Uphold HIPAA regulations, support company policies, and perform general office duties including reception coverage and mail distribution. Maintain staff and client databases with assessments and admission reminders while working toward continuous quality improvement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one (1) to two (2) years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and or Google Suite and scheduling software required
- Working knowledge of basic medical terminology required
- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and maintain valid auto insurance
- Ability to read and understand short instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Ability to effectively communicate through written and verbal language
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to evaluate situations and make complex decisions using critical thinking and reasoning
