Job Summary
Coordinate project schedules for Education sector construction programs by preparing schedules based on execution philosophies, performing contractor reviews, and evaluating change orders for budget and schedule impacts. Execute time impact analyses, Critical Path, and Earned Value analyses to identify delays, recommend corrective actions, and support recovery schedule evaluations. Conduct site visits for progress reporting, review weekly and monthly schedule narratives, and prepare cost-loaded schedules for cash flow projections. Submit findings to management for decision-making while adhering to Build LACCD guidelines. Requires 10 years of scheduling experience, a Bachelor's degree, and proficiency in Primavera and MS Office. Full-time role with a salary range of $120,200-$160,266 per year.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in project or program scheduling on large construction programs
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or other related field
- Advanced proficiency in specified software including, but not limited to, Primavera Scheduling Software, MS Office Applications including Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of theories, principles and practices of cost engineering and scheduling
- Experience with time impact analysis
- Experience with construction claims and change orders
- Flexibility in schedule and transportation to work at multiple sites based on assigned schedule and duties
