Job Summary
Scheduler/Central Supply role responsible for maintaining staffing for the facility (CNAs, RNs, LPNs), reducing overtime in coordination with the DON/ADON and HR, assisting in hiring nursing staff, maintaining accurate time records and attendance, and coordinating resident transport and escort scheduling. Also involved in ordering and maintaining nursing department medical supplies, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, ability to multi-task under pressure, professional demeanor, and a valid driver’s license. The position emphasizes scheduling, supply management, staffing compliance, and collaboration with nursing leadership and HR to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess, as a minimum, a high-school diploma or its equivalent
- Previous scheduling experience desired
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to be resourceful, tactful, and proactive in dealing with any issues that may arise
- Must have a valid drivers license
