Job Summary
Scheduler / Staffing Coordinator for a long-term care facility: creates and monitors monthly, bi-weekly, and daily schedules for nursing staff in accordance with policies and procedures; ensures government regulations compliance and adequate staffing to deliver high-quality care to residents; supports the nursing team and smooth operations. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, active CNA certification in the state, and willingness to work beyond normal hours, weekends, and holidays; knowledge of nursing practices, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines related to long-term care.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state
- Willing to work beyond normal working hours, weekends, holidays, and/or on other shifts and in other positions when necessary
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
