Job Summary
Scheduler and Medical Records dual role in Nursing Administration at Emerald Lakeview. Responsibilities include creating, managing, and adjusting staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage across weekdays, weekends, and holidays; coordinating shifts and resolving scheduling conflicts; ensuring compliance with labor laws and facility policies; serving as the primary contact for scheduling issues; generating scheduling reports; onboarding new staff and providing training on scheduling procedures; coordinating emergency staffing with temporary agencies; utilizing scheduling software and MS Office. In Medical Records, retrieve, prioritize, and track records requests, verify legitimacy, maintain EMR documentation, and assist residents, staff, and affiliates with records requests and questions. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (associate’s or bachelor’s preferred), prior scheduling/administrative experience in healthcare, and strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in scheduling or administrative roles, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting
- Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
