Job Summary
Guide Direct Support Professional schedules and assign staff to client services to ensure effective service delivery. Coordinate in-home support between DSPs and persons served, while monitoring attendance and punctuality for appointments. Identify problem situations, assist in problem solving, and communicate with management regarding special attention needs, condition changes, or disciplinary actions. Ensure DSPs complete required training and maintain data integrity for templates, authorizations, and timekeeping. Assume on-call responsibility to provide direct client care when appropriate staffing is absent. Submit proper timekeeping and paperwork while ensuring compliance with agency policies, procedures, and state/federal licensing laws.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent customer service, communication, and problem solving skills
- Must be able to function well under pressure, make decisions quickly and manage confidential information
- High School Diploma
- Valid driver's license and insurance
- Two or more years of general office and computer experience
- Solid experience working with the public, presenting a friendly, professional appearance while interacting with people
- Must have a valid driver's license and current auto insurance
- Some driving will be required
