Job Summary

Maintain physicians schedules for office visits and procedures via phone or face-to-face while assisting with high call volume. Review patient visit notes to identify problems, diagnoses, and physician orders, then support patient registration and financial transactions. Coordinate radiology and lab scheduling, including recall scheduling when needed. Perform other duties as assigned in a fast-paced medical office environment. Requires minimum two-three years of experience in a medical office with prior scheduling experience. Valid driver's license required.

  • Minimum two-three years of experience in a medical office
  • Prior medical scheduling experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent phone skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented
  • Basic understanding of healthcare plans
  • Be able to read and understand medical benefits
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must possess manual dexterity to operate office machines including computers and calculator
  • stooping and bending to handle files and supplies
  • mobility to complete errands or deliveries
  • Includes handling of sharps and chemicals

  • Dermatology experience
  • Prior experience with Mohs
  • Bilingual
