Job Summary
Scheduler 1 will complete routine and non-routine activities to prepare and update project schedules. Responsibilities include visiting job sites to review status, drafting and updating schedules, reviewing with the project team, and assisting with training and content preparation for JE Dunn operations. The role supports Lean and Pull Planning, adds resource and cost loading as needed, and prepares various reports. Requires 0-2 years scheduling experience; a Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred (equivalent experience considered). Travel/ relocation may be required; non-traditional hours may be necessary. Proficiency in MS Office and scheduling software is required, along with strong communication and collaboration skills. The role offers a pathway to Scheduler 2 and is part of JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group, working on industrial, data center, and semiconductor projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field (Preferred)
- Equivalent relevant experience considered in lieu of above requirements
- 0-2 years scheduling experience (Required)
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet business needs
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Proficiency in scheduling software
- Ability to read and understand plans, drawings and specifications
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members
- Knowledge of Lean process and philosophy
- Knowledge of schedule logic and sequence
