Job Summary
Conduct scheduled maintenance on material handling equipment, including lube changes, oil services, filter replacements, brake adjustments, and coolant system repairs. Assist Field Service Mechanics with dismantling, overhauling, and assembling machinery while maintaining neat personal appearance and a clean service truck. Check all vehicle fluids, tires, and belts, then complete work orders and job-related paperwork such as inspection reports and receipts. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance performed and accompany mechanics to job sites to learn repair techniques. Ensure courteous customer interaction and uphold company image through initiative and a positive attitude.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet physical demands of job which includes stooping, bending, climbing, twisting, and capability of lift up to 50 lbs or occasionally 60 lbs.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Must be DOT certifiable.
- Must be 21 years of age to be DOT certified.
Desired Qualifications
- Mechanical work experience or training preferable.
