Job Summary
Train and delegate medication administration duties to designated school personnel while conducting and documenting competency demonstrations. Supervise and monitor delegated staff, review medication records and administration practices, and maintain required training, delegation, and compliance documentation. This part-time role ensures student health needs are met safely and in compliance with SCCS policies and applicable regulations across school locations.
Required Qualifications
- Current Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel between SCCS locations
- Knowledge of medication administration and delegation practices
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong recordkeeping skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
