Job Summary
Manage SCCM enterprise health in a virtualized environment by capturing hardware and software baselines, administering Windows desktop deployment automation, and creating OS images and packages. Conduct technical exchanges with Government and Microsoft Premier Field Engineers while implementing new system hardware, software architecture, and design. Create enterprise-wide test plans for Tactical IT configurations, troubleshoot software deployments, and perform routine server administration including security patches and vulnerability alerts. Develop process documentation for updates and contribute to industry best practices for deploying enterprise desktop technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related discipline
- At least 20 years of systems engineering experience
- Master's degree or PhD (substitutable for two years of experience)
- High school diploma or GED (substitutable for 24 years of systems engineering experience)
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Knowledge of the Windows registry
- Knowledge of interaction of drivers within the OS
- Knowledge of unattended/silent installs of Windows operating systems
- At least 3 years' experience in Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
- At least 1 year on current version of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
- At least 3 years' experience in Microsoft Windows Server
- At least 3 years' experience in managing Active Directory Users, Computers, and Group Policies
- At least 3 years' experience in VMWare Infrastructure (VMware ESXi)
- At least 2 years' experience in scripting technologies, PowerShell, and VBScript
- Extensive knowledge of PC/Server hardware and software maintenance and deployment
- Readiness to travel, if required
- Eligibility requirements for access to classified information
