Job Summary
Performs front desk services and operations at the Sullivan Community Center providing excellent customer service. This includes registering customers for programs, membership passes, and events; handling cash according to policies; guiding tours of the facility; marketing Park District programs; and performing clerical duties. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact with diverse individuals, basic computer skills (Word, Excel), and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak registration periods. Safety and compliance with cash handling, safety protocols, and dress code are essential. Training on CPR/AED may be completed within the first 60 days of employment.
Required Qualifications
- CPR/AED certification or willingness to complete CPR/AED training within the first 60 days of employment
- Must be honest, have regular attendance, and have the ability to work in cooperation with others without causing disruption
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse people in an organizational context
- Must have basic computers skills including the use of Word and Excel
