Job Summary
Scanline Floater supports the scan team by preparing and positioning products for scanning, moving scanned items to appropriate bays, and removing scanned products from the area. Responsibilities include inspecting inbound products for defects, classifying items as Like New/Open Box/Damaged, testing electronics at a basic level, moving products to the conveyor for scanners, and organizing shelves by auction and lot number. The role helps the team meet quantity and quality goals, cleans up trash from bays and mobile scan areas, and performs other tasks as assigned. Requires on-site availability with 8-hour shifts, ability to lift up to 50 pounds with team assistance, standing/walking for extended periods, and being tech-savvy. Education required is a High School Diploma or equivalent. The position is Full-Time, hourly, non-exempt, with benefits after specified periods, and is located in Tarentum, PA and Pittsburgh Mills (Tarentum area), PA at US locations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
- Must be tech-savvy
- Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
- Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Availability to work on-site; 8-hour shifts with 30-minute lunch
- 8:00am-4:30pm Monday through Friday (hours may vary by location)
