Job Summary
Conduct vehicle weigh-ins for trucks, cars, and containers upon entry and exit while operating and maintaining the scale system. Record weights against required limits, verify disposal permits and load tickets, and enforce safety regulations before allowing travel. Control site access by checking driver identification and load information, ensuring only authorized vehicles enter or exit. Maintain a clean environment inside and around the scales, communicating with drivers and supervisors to coordinate daily operations. Provide feedback to management on traffic patterns and scalehouse performance. Full-time role in Rockport, Indiana with a $500 sign-on bonus for 90-day retention.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in security or scalehouse operating is preferred
