Scalehouse Attendant

Weigh all truck deliveries entering and exiting the mill site, completing scale tickets for raw wood, finished panels, and residue. Perform visual and periodic physical quality assessments on delivered wood, identifying culls, defects, and species. Coordinate with Wood Procurement and Shipping regarding quality specifications, inventory rotation, and shipment logistics. Maintain accurate inventory records, ensure common carrier loads are secured and within legal limits, and manage woodyard traffic flow. Manage all vehicular traffic and visitor access, verifying valid purchase orders, enforcing safety protocols including PPE, and directing visitors to the administration building.
