Job Summary
Install, calibrate, and maintain industrial, laboratory, and commercial scales; perform calibration procedures and adjust settings to meet precision requirements; diagnose issues and repair scales to minimize downtime; inspect scales for wear and functionality; document service and calibration records; communicate professionally with clients regarding service requirements and estimates; follow safety protocols when working with heavy equipment and electrical components; ensure all serviced scales meet quality and regulatory standards; stay updated on scale technology advancements; operate in 24/7/365 environment with evening/weekend shifts and outdoor/industrial settings; requires lifting up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license with CDL considered a plus; welding experience (AC/DC, MIG) is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical/vocational training preferred
- 2–3 years of relevant industry experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license; Class B (or A) CDL a plus
