Scale Operator - Seasonal

Weigh inbound and outbound grain trucks using a computerized scale, logging vehicle type, tags, and driver information for each transaction. Probe grain to check moisture levels and grade foreign materials, then create and print receipts and tickets for customers and location transfers. Verify scale tickets with customers, generate reports, and accurately record weight data for billing while performing regular audits. Greet patrons, farmers, and employees promptly; answer phones, process payments, and assist with transaction questions. Perform general clerical duties including filing, running errands, and maintaining office and scale room cleanliness. Seasonal role requiring proficiency with computers and scale operation, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent agricultural experience.
