Scale Operator - Seasonal

Weigh inbound and outbound grain trucks using a computerized scale, logging vehicle type, tags, and driver information for each transaction. Probe grain to check moisture levels and grade foreign materials, then create and print receipts and tickets for customers and location transfers. Verify scale tickets with customers, generate reports, and accurately record weight data for billing while performing regular audits. Greet patrons and farmers promptly, answer phones, process payments, and perform general clerical duties including filing and running errands. Maintain cleanliness of the office and scale room.
