Job Summary
Weigh and document all inbound and outbound truck loads, reviewing driver Origin & Destination (O&D) forms to verify load compliance. Enter load data into internal systems, maintain accurate scale tickets, and communicate tonnage updates to internal teams. Enforce DEP regulations and site safety requirements, including PPE use, while maintaining a clean scale house and performing routine walkdowns. Provide customer service to drivers, vendors, and the public, and report operational issues or irregularities to supervision. Support special projects and work additional hours as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of administrative, clerical, or accounting experience
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Desired Qualifications
- experience with records systems preferred
- Bilingual skills a plus
