Job Summary
Enter data using a keyboard and operate production equipment including scales, computers, and office machines. Complete paperwork with accuracy and timeliness while analyzing and calculating data using basic math skills. Communicate effectively with supervisors and associates while maintaining high professionalism. Perform other duties as assigned in a poultry production environment, including handling live poultry, raw products, and cooked products. Work assigned hours including overtime and some weekends as required. Maintain safety by following requirements, wearing PPE, and adhering to company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to learn and perform a variety of general labor duties in a poultry production environment
- Available to work assigned shifts, including overtime and weekends, as required
- Ability to follow safety requirements, including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE), company policies, and departmental procedures
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must have the availability to work assigned hours including overtime and some weekends required
- Must be able to work assigned days/shifts (including some weekends)
- Ability to read and understand English in order to be able to identify items on paperwork
- Ability to analyze and calculate data using basic math skills
- General mathematical ability required to perform job
- Should possess the ability to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to work assigned days/shifts (including some weekends)
- New team members must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening post-offer and prior to the start of their employment
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma preferred
- Related production, manufacturing, food processing, poultry processing, warehouse, or general labor experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
- Willingness to work in different production areas based on business needs
