Scale Operator

Obtain required information from customers for all transactions, complete purchasing and shipping documents, and perform daily reconciliation of transactions. Follow company and OSHA safety procedures, attend safety meetings, and verify/restrict duplication of purchases by checking IDs and recording vehicle information. Communicate pricing and material specifications to customers while maintaining courteous, safe, and professional relations. Answer company phone calls, provide up-to-date market information, and transfer calls as needed. Willing to cross-train in other positions and assist employees. High school diploma or GED required with strong communication, writing, and computer skills.
