Scale Operator - 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Scale Operator responsible for tagging finished goods, weighing, measuring, and recording data in the AS/400 system; ensure proper packaging and identification according to sales orders; guide pack-line workflow, inspect packages for accuracy and weight, balance production, and document order flow and material movement to storage; perform routine inventory checks and maintain quality through precise data entry and measurement tools (tape measures, micrometers, calipers); supports standard shift schedule (2nd shift with potential 1st shift training) and utilizes basic computer skills for data entry and reporting; eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision after probationary period and various company programs.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED with at least one year of industrial or manufacturing experience is preferred
- Ability to follow all order instructions and complete documentation
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, ability to accurately track and input data in AS 400 system
- Ability to use tape measures, micrometers, and calipers
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
