Scale Operator - 1st Shift

Tag finished goods by weighing, measuring, and recording data into the AS 400 system to ensure accurate packaging and shipment. Instruct pack-line staff on proper packing instructions, inspect packages for material and size accuracy, and generate tags while comparing entries against sales orders. Control material flow to and from scales, balance production, perform routine inventory of supplies, and conduct daily scale accuracy checks. Lift up to 75 pounds occasionally and use measuring tools like micrometers and calipers. Work Tuesday through Friday from 5:00 am to 3:00 pm with overtime added to Monday as needed.
