Job Summary
Scale House Clerk at Texas Materials (CRH) responsible for weighing trucks entering/leaving the quarry/sand pit, collecting established cash-sale fees, and providing information to customers. Duties include computing, reconciling, data entry, generating sales tickets, reporting production/inventory discrepancies, and coordinating with the superintendent. Requires ability to perform admin tasks, operate a truck scale indicator, handle cash accurately, maintain records and reports, and uphold safety standards with PPE. Must work in a team environment, communicate effectively, and maintain housekeeping and compliance with OSHA/MSHA rules.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year experience and/or training in a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and criminal background check
- Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required
- Must be able to work varied hours including mornings, evenings, holidays and weekends
- Must wear PPE and comply with OSHA/MSHA regulations
